Alkagesta says it has carried out its first truck-to-vessel marine fuel delivery in Constanța, Romania, supplying 50.164 metric tonnes of marine gasoil from two trucks on 2 October 2026. The company presented the operation as an extension of its distribution capacity in Romania and the wider Black Sea region.
The delivery introduces truck-to-vessel supply to Alkagesta’s Romanian operations. In its announcement, the company described Romania as an increasingly important market for its regional petroleum products and biofuels business during 2026. The Constanța cargo was identified as marine gasoil; the announcement did not describe it as a renewable fuel delivery or specify any biofuel content.
Separately, Alkagesta reported two commitments supporting its European sustainable fuels activities: a multi-year agreement for biofuel storage at Pantank in Antwerp and a five-year offtake agreement for used cooking oil feedstock. The company said these arrangements strengthened its position in the European biofuels supply chain. It did not disclose storage capacity or feedstock volumes in the announcement.
The Romanian delivery also follows developments in Alkagesta’s conventional fuel business. According to the company, it gained access to the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System earlier in 2026 and began delivering Jet A1 to the European aviation market. Alkagesta described aviation fuel supply as being under acute pressure, with greater military use of the pipeline further complicating civilian distribution. It also reported its first crude oil transactions, including delivery of approximately 1.07 million barrels to the Far East.
Outside Europe, Alkagesta said its Singapore hub achieved monthly marine fuel trading volumes of approximately 250,000 metric tonnes during its first full operating year. The company placed the Constanța delivery within this broader expansion of its trading and distribution activities.
